Luke’s Must See Places

My overall bucket list is much less thought out than Gill’s. Realistically you could throw a dart at a map of the world and land on somewhere I want to go! It’s strange how bucket list places change with time/experience – after visiting Thailand I really want to go to more of South East Asia for example.

 

For the purpose of this page I’ve just selected my top countries for each continent with reasons why I want to visit. This seems so much more considered than just stating ‘everywhere’!

 

I find inspiration can come from anywhere – pretty much all the same sources as Gill (although my book choices are always non fiction). I also love seeing Nasa Earth Observatory images for a totally different angle on the world – changing the angle, doing something different; that’s what exploring is all about!

 

My bucket list does contain some (currently) unrealistic destinations. Visiting these certainly won’t happen anytime soon but may do one day when the world is a calmer place. I guess visiting Chernobyl would have been seen as unrealistic but we’ve completed that!
